“Ok, I admit the beginning of the book was a bit rocky. I was about to dismiss it as run-of-the-mill contemporary romance, meaning, it’s just all about the unexplainable attraction to a person the other barely knows? Anyway, I pushed through and found myself deep into a the character’s life growth and I was captivated by the push and pull. Messy just like irl. The found family was really heartening. And the sex scenes??? Oh my lawd. Sex with emotion involved and open communication is just *chef’s kiss*”
